2. What data we process
a) Browsing data
While you browse, the systems that run the Site automatically collect some technical data: IP address, browser type and operating system, date and time of the request, page requested and outcome of the request. This data is used only to run the Site, to keep it secure (for example against cyber attacks) and to detect malfunctions. It is not used to identify or profile visitors.
b) Data sent by email
The Site contains no contact forms. If you write to the email address shown, we process the data you send us (email address, name and any other data contained in your message) in order to reply to your request. Please do not send us data that is not necessary, in particular data belonging to special categories (e.g. health data).
c) Provision of data
Browsing data is necessary to visit the Site. Writing to us by email is optional; however, without the data you send us we cannot reply to your request.
3. Purposes and legal basis
| Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|
| Operation and security of the Site (browsing data) | Legitimate interest of the Controller (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) |
| Replying to requests sent by email, including requests for quotations and offers | Steps taken at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) or legitimate interest in replying (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) |
| Compliance with legal obligations (e.g. tax and accounting), if the request leads to a business relationship | Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR) |
We do not carry out any automated decision-making, including profiling (Art. 22 GDPR).
4. Who the data is shared with
The data is processed by the authorised staff of LQUADRO S.r.l. and by the following providers, acting as data processors:
- Cloudflare, Inc. – hosting of the Site and network protection (browsing data).
- Google (Google Cloud EMEA Limited / Google LLC) – Google Workspace business email service (data sent by email).
The data is neither sold nor disclosed to the public.
5. Transfers of data outside the EU
Some of the providers listed above are based in the United States or may process data outside the European Economic Area. In such cases the transfer takes place on the basis of the European Commission's adequacy decision on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, to which the providers adhere, or on the basis of the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.
6. How long we keep the data
- Browsing data: for the time strictly necessary to ensure the operation and security of the Site, in accordance with the hosting provider's policies, unless needed to investigate cyber crimes.
- Emails received: for the time needed to handle the request. If a business relationship arises from it, for its whole duration and then for the period required by law (e.g. 10 years for accounting and tax records).
7. Cookie Policy
The Site does not use profiling cookies, marketing cookies, third-party analytics cookies or any other tracking tools. For this reason no consent banner is shown.
The Site stores a single technical item in your browser (in the browser's session memory, "sessionStorage"), which is needed to display the transition animation between pages correctly: it contains no personal data, is not sent to anyone and is deleted when the tab is closed.
The hosting provider may use only cookies or technical tools strictly necessary for the security of the service (for example to tell legitimate traffic from automated traffic). These tools do not require the user's consent, pursuant to Article 122 of the Italian Privacy Code and the Guidelines of the Italian Data Protection Authority of 10 June 2021.
You can in any case manage or delete cookies at any time from your browser settings.
8. Links to external websites
The Site contains plain links to external services, such as Google Maps, LinkedIn and OpenStreetMap. These links do not send any data to third parties while you browse the Site. If you click on them, you are taken to the external service's website, which processes your data according to its own privacy notice, for which LQUADRO S.r.l. is not responsible.
The map shown on the Site is a static image made with data © OpenStreetMap contributors and does not load any content from external servers.
9. Your rights
At any time you may ask the Controller for:
- access to your personal data (Art. 15 GDPR);
- rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR);
- erasure of the data (Art. 17 GDPR);
- restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR);
- data portability (Art. 20 GDPR);
- objection to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21 GDPR).
To exercise these rights, write to info@lquadro.com. We will reply within one month of your request.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it).
